Job Description:

FACILITIES ASSISTANT
 
Primary Purpose
The Facilities Assistant I Assists in overall maintenance of entire facility.
Key Activities
  • Perform housekeeping functions for assigned technical area, i. e. dust, vacuum, dustmop, wetmop, clean windows and collect refuse.
  • Stock and maintain inventory of assigned areas, i. e. , housekeeping, kitchen supplies and maintenance parts.
  • Provide backup assistance as requested to other group members during heavy workload or absence from office.
  • Perform other duties as needed and as directed by supervisor.
Skills
Education & Experience/Certifications
  • Experience with commercial cleaning equipment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of commercial cleaning responsibilities.
  • Ability to accommodate changes in schedule and assignments.
  • Flexible and have ability to work extra hours when needed.
Work Environment
  • Mobility, dexterity, ability to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to work with office personnel in a professional, courteous manner.

  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required. In addition, proof of insurance and liability coverage may be required.
